I was a very good friend of Olof's and I worked closely with him when he first launched Olof's files/Still On the Road in the late 80s. This continued for the next 30 years and we also attended many Dylan concerts together over the years. I am very pleased to know that Olof's files now have a new home at Bobserve!
I remain forever grateful to Olof Björner for his scholarship. I have consulted his site weekly for The Dylan Hours broadcast since 2006. Thank you so much for preserving it.
Amazing! It's so gratifying to me as a lifelong fan of Dylan's music, to get glimpses into how much that appreciation of his work is shared by others like Olof and Daniel, and any others involved in this massive preservation of knowledge.
And to have it all be something non-commercial - just for the benefit of humanity, as I understand it - makes me doubly joyful.
Thank you for preserving and even elevating (via a transfer to database format) Olof's precious work. I look forward to continuing to reference it - with hopefully, many entries to come in 2025 and beyond, as we all continue to be inspired by Dylan's art.
None of us could do what we do without Olof’s work. Great to see his legacy being preserved and continued.
This is fantastic, excellent news!!!
